The Truth about Lung Cancer : Prevention is better than Cure

As some of you don’t know my husband is a smoker. He usually smokes about 6 cigarettes sticks a day and I really hate it. Especially when I read an article about lung cancer, I just got the urge to make him stop as soon as possible. I hope I can stop him totally before this year end.

For you who don’t know a thing about the lung cancer, here are some facts that I’ve gathered from my reads.

Did you know that approximately 31 males out of 100,000 are diagnosed with lung cancer every year? That’s why doctors encourage men to ensure a cancer-free lifestyle by proactively reducing cancer risks. Lung cancer is the number one cause of cancer-related deaths. Unfortunately, there is no effective early detection method for lung cancer. This means that patients are often diagnosed at an incurable stage. OH MY!

Smokers, who are at greater risk for lung cancer, should see a doctor when they notice the following symptoms:

• A Nagging cough
• Hoarseness
• Bloody or rust colored phlegm
• Persistent fever with no identifiable cause
• Recurring lung infections
• Shortness of breath
• Chest pains worsened by deep breathing
• Onset of wheezing
• Weight loss or loss of appetite

Please note that lung cancer is not only for me but also for women who are also chain smokers.

Overall, it is better to prevent the disease than to cure. So, as early as now I suggest that you smokers should end the habit. I know it’s really hard to quit but it is much manageable and easy to accept than to have cancer, right?

Before I finish my reviews about adapexin, let me show you some you first a photo of my husband’s only niece (as of this moment) Ericka. She is the only rose among the thorns of cousins and she is dearly loved by everyone because of his sweetness.

Today, my SIL posted some photos that Ericka is currently enrolled in a ballet class near their house in Canada. Just look how cute she is while making her moment.

If ever my second child would be a girl, I will definitely enroll her to one of the ballet classes here as well. :)

Oh my day is really a stressful one for me. Other than being hungry while working, I look like I have trimmed down some pounds and took tons of slimming tablets because of my saggy face. Lol! Hi guys, how are you doing today?

Me – not so good, somehow because of low income return I’m beginning to get depressed in some ways. That’s why I’m trying to lure myself to do other loads where I can generate more income with. That’s why now I’m currently online doing some research about medicare supplemental plans. The client was asking me to do so for him and his wife’s medigap insurance. Unfortunately, they applied a medicare supplement without reading the medigap policies, plans and procedure. It looks like that they got a medicare package because of goodwill to a friend. They owe a friend something and now he was an agent at medigap and offered them to get one. Of course, out of friendship they got the package. So for them to be sure, they plan to hire me as a virtual assistant to assist them in understanding the packages they got from medigap and will give me more jobs after that. A few days ago, I went to my friend’s house. I thought of visiting her for she has been sick for two weeks now. This morning my father in law got a phone call from my Uncle Albert. Uncle Albert is a citizen of Canada and is currently working a building contractor there. Destressing Myself

Urgh! I’m about half an hour in front of my laptop but I can’t seem to finish any tasks. My mind is bugging me with questions and doubts and the answer for this I haven’t received yet. I need him to talk to me and tell me what’s happening but he never cared to answer my calls. :)

My Uncle Albert just bought a new car again at a newly opened Honda Dealer in Chicago. Essel's Birthday Wish

My cousin Essel will celebrate her 25th year of existence on earth next week and as a birthday she requested her parents to give her additional funds for her breast augmentation procedure. Yup! My grandfather died a few years ago because of stroke. But it was too late because of lack of health information in just less than a day, I lost my grandfather.

If only I can bring back the time and was able to research Yahoo! Health about these sudden attacks then I would still see him with my grandmother. But sometimes, I also thought that it was time for him to go. Oh well, maybe that’s how things should be. At least now we know what to do and how to detect any brain attack or stroke, I just hope it won’t happen again in any of my love ones. Please Lord protect us all.

Hi guys! How are you? Well, as for me I’m doing just fine.

A while ago I went out of the house just to ship some items from my online auction. After that I decided to go to the mall’s internet café just to check on my active listings, surprisingly I saw my brother Noel in the internet café. I didn’t call his attention yet for I wanted to know what he’s doing there. So I sneak in quietly behind his back and saw what he was doing, He was playing online pokies! Lol! Yup! He has downloaded some free pokies in the internet using a public internet café. I immediately prick him with my hand and he was really surprise to see me. I asked him what’s he’s doing and she said that he was just downloading some files.

I immediately told him that I saw him playing pokies and he said no. Well, there’s really nothing wrong about playing such its just that his wife asked him not to play with it anymore since he became addicted to it. Their laptop was full of such download which caused it to crash. Lol! Then his phone has become his next medium, where he downloaded iPhone pokies for him to play even without a laptop. He was really addicted then but now he somehow manages it. Well, who wouldn’t be addicted to something that gives you enjoyment and money? :)

A Big Undertaking to Take

I’m about to enter the 5th month of my pregnancy and with that I’m getting a little bit anxious because in a matter of 4 months I would be feeling the pain of labor and of giving birth again for the second time! Urgh!

Giving birth is not a joke. The pain, the pressure and the fatigue you’ll feel is the worst ever (in my opinion). But of course after that, the pain will be replaced with happiness and completeness. Completeness in the sense that finally you have a child which completes a ones womanhood. Oh, it’s the best experience ever it I tell you!

It still doesn’t end there. The next trial that a woman have to face is her renewal of her overused body. Saggy breasts, skin pigmentation, stretch marks, excess fats and bulgy tummies are one of the worst after effects of pregnancy and that is what concerns me big time. You see, after I became pregnant with our first born I got those ugly stretch marks and tummy bulges in my body. No creams or ointment has saved my skin from them. I tried asking the help of professionals about it but the only solutions was liposuction or abdominoplasty. But as a first timer, I’m afraid to undergo those procedures because I know I have to be under surgery. But things are a little different know, I’m convincing myself to have an abdominoplasty after my delivery. I need it just to restore the old flat and smooth tummy that I had. I know it’s a big undertaking but I’m still persuading myself to finally have it.

It's Time for me to create Beauty

There is a point in my life where I have searched for new things, seeking out new adventures that would make me feel that I am a part of the world. This is definitely huge compared to what we are using today and my husband badly needs something this huge for his body. lol! Well, I thought he needs it because he keeps on complaining almost everyday on how small and how little the spray of water that comes out of our shower heads. So just to stop him from talking after bathing I think buying this huge thing will be a great idea. The coolest thing about this head is it has change color feature! The bathroom is one of my favorite parts of the house. Maybe you are wondering why? Well, primarily because it makes me feel clean and comfortable. As we all, we all go to the bathroom to freshen up and do some stomach and bladder cleaning for us to feel fresher. My Purpose of Blogging

I started blogging last September of 2007. Thanks to my high school batch mate’s friendster where I got a first glimpse of the how blogging works. Yup! Curiosity got me which lead me to try the art of blogging. My primary purpose then was to make an online journal of my life which I think I succeeded at the early stage of my online career. Every visit and comments on my posts gives me more inspiration to blog even more.

It was the early part of 2008 where I discovered that there is something more about my online journal. I never thought that I could use blogging for money and I couldn’t believe at first that you can really earn decent money from it. But all my doubts disappeared when one of my blogging friends taught me how to do it. It was a bit hard at first but with more patience and determination I was able to get the hang of it and now I’m enjoying every bit of it. I love doing posts of different sorts and kind. I also love reading articles like that I saw at yousaytoo.com about boxhead 2. My mind tingles every time I read an interesting article and because of that I get more inspired of posting more interesting and informative post for my readers and visitors. Unfortunately, many blogs nowadays doesn’t supply this kind of information anymore and somehow it saddens me. But still the age of war in blogging is still at hand, with all the bloggers out there, you’ re pretty sure that competition is still high.

In about 4 months, I’ll be giving birth to our second child. With that, we’re thinking if we will still buy a new stroller for our little baby. Aj’s stroller is quite fine but it is now at the custody of my nephew Kyle (my brother’s baby). It is still in good condition though and if ever our next baby will be a boy, i think we might use that stroller again to save money. But of course, if ever she will be a baby girl that’s a different story. :)

What is art? To some a piece of art is an expensive painting by a dead artist , an intricate brass sculpture or a picture so alive, it almost pops out of the frame. For some people, art may be as simple as a child's crayon drawing or clay molded to a ball. So how can we say if something is a work of art?

Paintings, sculptures, sketches, graffiti, Obey Giant. All these are considered forms of art. But of all these forms of art, the latter caught my attention. Obey Giant Art is a street art developed by a contemporary artist by the name of Shepard Fairey. He created the “Andre the Giant Has a Posse" sticker campaign, which made him a hit. His kind of art is fresh and updated. One of my favorite is the Obama Hope campaign. This only show that art can be appreciated by anybody, and with Shepard Fairey's art, the younger generation can have their say of what art should be.

Totally Different You

Last week, my husband and I decided to visit our long time friend Lia. We haven’t seen her since my son’s baptismal – about 5 years ago! lol! Yup! It was that long. We haven’t seen her since she moved to Beverly Hills last 2005. It was actually her company’s prerogative to transfer her to that beautiful and luxurious place. You see, she has been an associate editorial of a known beauty magazine in California and as the company stated for her to see the actual and real side of beauty and fashion world she really needs to stay in Beverly Hills. Lucky her! :)

Anyways, it’s a good thing that she decided to take a vacation and went home with her mom. That’s why after knowing that she came home, we decided to visit her! Whala! Seeing her after five years was kind of eerie but exciting as well. The moment we saw her, I was so surprise because she was totally a different person. From her wardrobe to her looks! And guess what? She just had her nose done! lol! I was quit surprise because I never thought she would go into plastic surgery (I was wrong). But with the looks of it she’s enjoying her life now than before. She even brags about her getting the expensive Hollywood Bikini Wax! Wow! Well, I think that’s good news, right?

I think she’s totally different now but when I finally had a deeper conversation with her, I noticed that the old Lia was still there. Still the trusted and sincere friend I used to have. She still cares for her family and is doing everything she can to make their lives better. Well, that’s the greatest buzz for me! We were happy seeing her again. Thanks friend! :)

Worried about the Furture

Last weekend we visited my mom’s house. Well, I just wanted to have a little chit chat with my mom and dad. Fortunately and quite surprisingly for me my cousin Arthur was there. We found him busy chatting in the internet and he was like finding girls online where he can date. Yup! He’s young and he’s single and you know how a boys this young wanting to get laid with a girl of his age. Anyways, with this seeing it with my two eyes I’m getting worried with what my son’s future will be. I have always loved the I Love Lucy Show. I guess it all goes back to my childhood because my mother used to watch the show every night. I watched it with her from a very young age. There is just something so lovable about Lucy, her silly antics and her curly red hair. She has always been a part of my life. I used to really struggle to catch the show but when we got direc 4 u TV I was ecstatic. There was one particular station that showed an episode every night of the week. However, when I finished my doctrine at the local university, I started working in a local office until ten, seven days a week. That was way past time for my fave show. A friend of mine told me about the DVR and I went right out and got one. I had the resolution to my problem. Now I can watch I Love Lucy anytime that I feel like it, or have the time. The DVR was one of the best investments that I ever made. My husband loves it to catch his games with too, but that is beside the point.
